The Foundation’s goals are the following:

  • Intensify the study, promotion, and defence of the Catalan language from its origins to the present in all manners and means of expression.
  • Promote the projection of the Catalan language abroad, as well as the different cultural areas where it is expressed.
  • Supervise compliance with legislation on the Catalan language in collaboration with authorities, public and private bodies and organisations that partially or totally share the Foundation’s goals.
  • Assist in carrying out the actions of the Institut Ramon Llull Consortium that coincide with the Foundation’s goals.
  • Any activity related with those aforementioned, or necessary for their effective accomplishment.

In order to carry out its goals, the Foundation may also create other entities and legally participate in them, including commercial corporations, as long as they have goals that are analogous and compatible with its own.

The Foundation undertakes its activities in the Principality of Andorra and any other location worldwide.
